Summer Walker Says She is “a Brand-New Woman” after a Spiritual Transformation

The “Girl Needs Love” singer Summer Walker says she is a whole new woman after establishing a spiritual connection with her ancestors and spirit guides. “a brand NEW woman filled with confidence, self-love, self-worth, strength and discipline,” is how Walker described herself in an Instagram post.

The singer claims she has had a transformative year after she embarked upon a soul-cleansing spirit-enlightening spiritual journey that led her to form meaningful connections with her ancestors. “This was the most amazing, incredible, breath-taking, beautiful, unforgettable year probably of my entire life,” Walker added. “Purged out all the bad, truly let go, surrendered and, in return, I was flooded with an abundance of everything good, pure and new. All was revealed and I’ve been reborn.”

Some have accused Walker of spreading voodoo and superstition, whereas others have defended her for embracing her spirituality and embarking upon a soul-cleansing journey.

In recent months, social media users have thrown shade at Walker, after pictures of her wearing traditional African religious attire, circulated online. Unfazed, Walker has called on her fans to initiate spiritual journeys of their own and seek help from spiritual coach and therapists, who she claims, play a major role in helping you transition into a “well-rounded, multifaceted, evolved and mature adult.”
