Patrick Beverly has explained he won’t have sex before a game. The Chicago Bulls guard who runs his own podcast called the Barstool Sports Podcast often does not shy away from weighing in on controversial issues.
The comments by Beverly come in the wake of comments by Real Housewives of New York reality-tv star Larsa Pippen, ex-wife of NBA legend Scottie Pippen, who recently said on a tv show that she and her ex-husband had sex 4 times a night, every night, for the 23 years that they were married.
“I don’t have sex the night before games,” Beverley on his Barstool Podcast.
“I want to have fresh [legs,] you know what I’m saying?
“Wifey gon’ kill me, though.” Beverly who’s married to Iranian-American fashion entrepreneur MandanaBalourchi said.
“It’s hard, though, because you got a game every other day and s–t,” Beverley, 34, said. “So, when I was in L.A. … I don’t want to get too deep, but hey wifey.”
“I don’t think people know our history though,” he said, adding that he wasn’t sure if he could elaborate on their relationship.
“Some Iranian backstory that people aren’t aware of?” Rone asked, to which Beverley agreed.
“Interesting, because she’s been a very outspoken human rights activist,” Rone said.
“I call her Princess of Dubai,” Beverley gushed, adding, “She has three Rolls Royces.
“I’m lucky. I like to feel like I’m one of the chosen ones. I attract good energy also.”
