Grammy award winning singer Shaffer Chimere “Ne-Yo” Smith, 43, and Renay Chrystal, 37, who got married in 2016 are finally divorce after a messy and much publicized divorce,
The divorce settlement which took five months to finalize will cost Ne Yo $1.6 million in lump sum in return for their join real-estate holdings, TMZ has reported.
Renay will also get to keep on of their houses in Georgia, whearas Ne-Yo will keep the remaining three houses. Ne-yo will also pay $150,000 to ex-wife to buy herself a new car.
Ne-Yo will also give $5,000 in alimony for the next three years.
Renay had filed for divorce in August 2022, claiming Ne-Yo was cheating on her. She made the accusations in a public statement, “To say I’m heartbroken and disgusted is a understatement. To ask me to stay and accept it is absolutely insane,” she said at the time. “The mentality of a narcissist. I will no longer lie to the public or pretend that this is something it isn’t.”
The ex-couple have three children together, aged 6, 4, and 1. Ne-Yo also has three more children from another relationship with Monyetta Shaw.
