According to The Hollywood Reporter the rap icon Jay Z will perform at this year’s Grammys. Other prominent performers at this year’s award, the 6th Annual ceremony, include Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Kim Petras, Lizzo, Steve Lacy, John Legend, and Fridayy. The performance has also been confirmed by Variety magazine.
The Jay-Z and DJ Khaled collaboration “God Did” has been nominated for three awards, including the song of the year, best rap song and best rap performance.
Jay-Z has equaled with Kanye West among rappers with most nominations at 24 each.
Jay-Z and wife Beyonce have so far been nominated for a total of 88 nominations in Grammys.
Grammy awards show will be broadcast live on Feb. 5, 2023 on CBS at 8pm ET. The event will take place at the Crypto Area in Los Angeles and will be hosted by Trevor Noah.
