Family, friends, and fans of Pittsburgh artist and musician Mike “Tomlinese” Tomin gathered in Pittsburg to remember him on Monday. Mike was shot and killed in a shooting in Wilkinsburg on Sunday night. Mike was 33.
According to the police, they responded to reports of a shooting in Franklin Avenue and found a man dead on the scene. Friends and family have reportedly identified that the man in question is Tomlin.\
The cause of the shooting is yet to be disclosed by the police and the medical examiner is yet to release the final report.
“The city won’t sound the same. And that’s what’s kinda breaking my heart,” Portia Foxx, a former co-worker of Tomlin at the radio station told the ABC (WTAE) News.
“He was really like the triple threat. He could sing, he could rap, he could produce. He was all-in when it came to his craft,” she said.
“He made every day coming in there fun. He was just a free spirit. He did what he wanted to do.”
