Florida nurse allegedly fractured patient’s face. According to the Casselberry Police Department, a fractured face was caused after a nurse at an assisted living home reportedly assaulted a patient in the front with an instrument and then smashed the patient’s face into a wall.

The incident resulted in the patient requiring medical attention.

After the incident that occurred at around 10:30 p.m. on October 27 at a care facility in Casselberry, Kassandra Aihe, 24, was arrested and charged with violence on a person 65 years of age or older.

According to the arrest report, Aihe encountered the patient as she was going down a corridor and attempted to assist her in returning to her room.

The patient was strolling down the hallway. According to the investigation, the patient “became combative,” and Aihe was seen on the surveillance camera, reportedly grasping and tugging on her hair in an attempt to subdue the patient.

According to the allegation, after the nurse gained control of the situation, she dragged the patient to her room and shoved her inside.

Aihe could be heard screaming for around five minutes after entering the building before another staff member entered the room to assist. In an incident report, that nurse said that she walked into the patient’s room and saw her bleeding from the face.

Aihe also had to submit an incident report, which said that she assaulted the patient’s face with an item and then smacked her face against the wall, inflicting facial injuries and blood. The report also stated that she was needed to write an incident report.

The patient was sent to the hospital two days later for treatment because her face had been seriously bruised, according to the executive director of the care facility, who spoke with the police about the incident. The patient’s nose and face were reported to both have fractures by the medical staff.

The patient’s visit to the hospital first started an inquiry at the care facility, which ultimately led to the discovery of the security camera evidence that was stated before.

Because the patient is unable to make choices on her behalf, her husband, who is also her power of attorney, has said that he wants to bring charges against Aihe.

According to the report, the police were able to justify Aihe’s arrest by stating that she “did go beyond her scope of duty by pulling (the patient’s) hair to control her and pushing her to move her to her room physically.”

Aihe was arrested and sent to the Seminole County Jail, where she remained until the bail for her release was paid $5,000.
