Ky’air Thomas, one of the two 6-month-old infants who was at the centre of an Amber Alert kidnapping case that attracted national attention has passed away, the police said.
An unresponsive infant was reported to the Columbus authorities on Saturday, who was rushed to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where he passed away at 11:44 pm. According to Wilma Booker, the twins’ aunt, the death occurred due to a feeding accident.
While I wasn’t exactly right there when it happened, my kids were there. Momo was feeding the babies, and one of them started choking on the milk and that’s what happened…she immediately called 911, trying to do chest compression and CPR things to get the baby back at that time. It was just like an accident that happened from feeding the babies and that was it.”

Booker told WSYX TV, “While I wasn’t exactly right there when it happened, my kids were there. Momo was feeding the babies, and one of them started choking on the milk and that’s what happened…she immediately called 911, trying to do chest compression and CPR things to get the baby back at that time.
