Rapper 50 Cent win’s $6.2M lawsuit from Former employees, Seizing all Assets

In 2022, it was reported that one of the employees of 50 Cent from Sire Spirits secretly stole millions, according to court papers released last year.

In February 2020, Mitchell Green, who was previously the spirits company’s Director of Brand Management, allegedly increased the prices of the product and was “getting kickbacks from wholesalers to the tune of $2.2 million in so-called ‘agency fees,’ per Manhattan Federal Court records.”

In October 2021, the court issued a final award of $6,194,293 in favor of Sire Spirits, including compensatory damages, pre-judgment interest, disgorged compensation and benefits, attorneys’ fees and costs, and arbitrator compensation.

Green tried to appeal the award lawsuit, but the court denied his request in June 2022. In November 2022, the court awarded an additional $89,305.50 in attorneys’ fees and costs to Sire Spirits.

Two years after the employee Green was accused of stealing from 50 Cent, he confessed because someone threatened to expose him.

Fast forward, 50 Cent has won the court case as he reportedly seized Mitchell Green’s assets, including his properties, whips, and bank accounts.

50 Cent shared a photo of a house he intends to seize from Green.

“I think i’m gonna put Epoxy floors in this place. I’m gonna keep it and his family pictures around, you know as a theme for the place. LOL.”

On Instagram, he reposted an article with the headline “50 Cent Ready To Seize Ex-Employee’s Property Over $6M Lawsuit.”

“Look I’m a need that by Monday!” 50 Cent wrote in his caption.

Green petitioned to appeal the lawsuit and landed in a deeper hole. The outlet reports that the court denied his request and added more money to his outstanding debt for attorney fees.

The case isn’t the first time people have owed the rapper and Power producer money following court proceedings. Back in 2018, he was sued by Teairra Mia for revenge porn, but she ultimately lost the case and was ordered to pay him $40,000 in legal fees.
