A wrecked vehicle was discovered close to the entry by the Harris County deputies, according to the authorities.
As the individual came into the entry, the investigators concluded that he was in his vehicle when he was shot several times by an unknown culprit.
It was determined by the family that the deceased individual was Christopher Boyd.
Boyd allegedly left the scene, smashed into a fence, came into contact with a tree, and then raced inside his apartment, according to the deputies.
My daughter informed me that he had arrived; when he did, he was bleeding as he entered the room. He collapsed to the ground and informed her, “He shot me.” He did not provide the name of the person who had shot him. He just said, “He shot me,” and then on to say, “Tell my kids that I love them with all my heart.” This is what Boyd’s mother-in-law stated.
After being transported to the hospital, Boyd ultimately succumbed to his injuries and passed away, as stated by the sheriff’s office.
Although the sheriff’s office has not yet identified a suspect, Boyd’s family has said that they have concerns about the situation.
Boyd had just arrived home from his job as an Amazon driver, as stated by the victim’s mother-in-law. Boyd had just started his shift.

ABC13 was informed by Boyd’s mother-in-law that he is survived by two boys, one who is six years old and the other who is seven years old.
“Right before Christmas, and we just lost my mom, my aunt, like in the last three months like…and now my son-in-law.”
However, detectives were able to locate evidence of a gunshot that occurred close to the entry, even though there were no witnesses to the crime.
A probable video clip of the event is still being awaited by the investigators.
According to the authorities, Boyd knocked over an electrical box when he crashed, which resulted in a power outage. The footage will be accessible to the police after the power has been restored, according to the police.
