Lil Nas Claps Back at being Compared to Andrew Tate: “Y’all need to find yourself and stop looking at people to look up to.”

Lil Nas X has hit back at a troll on Twitter who tried to compare him to the controversial anti-feminist meninist kick-boxer-turned social media influencer Andrew Tate. The troll compared the rapper with the social media influencer and took a jibe at Lil Nas.

Posting a screenshot from Lil Nas’s “MONTERO” video in a montage alongside a picture of Andrew Tate, the detractor wrote: “On the left, we have ‘Lil Nas X’ twerking on Satan. On the right, we have Andrew Tate, who teaches young people to think critically, to take care of their physical health and build financial security. Guess which one is deemed controversial and which is hailed as a role model.”

“i promise im not backtracking from that video. i regret nothing. everyone i pissed off can still suck a fart out my ass til this day.”

-Lil Nas

It is worth pointing out that the controversial social media influencer Tate, who is currently incarcerated in Romania on charges of human trafficking and illegal prostitution, has been banned from Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for breaching hate speech regulations. Tate has become a poster boy for what his detractor claim is toxic misogyny disguised in the shape of masculinity.

It didn’t take long for the “Industry Baby” rapper to respond to the troll, pointing out that he was not really “twerking on Satan” and that in the “Montero” video (Call me by Your Name) it is only a CGI animated being.

“1. that is a CGI animated being, not satan from the bible book. 2. there’s no such thing as a good role model, y’all need to find yourselves and stop looking for people to look up to.” Lil Nas wrote.

Another troll quote-tweeted to say that Lil Nas was backtracking from his Montero video. To which, Nas replied, “I promise im not backtracking from that video. iregret nothing. everyone i pissed off can still suck a fart out my ass til this day.”

Last week Lil Nas had joked about transitioning on social media which did not sit well with fans and he had to apologize for the bad joke. “Apologies to the trans community i def handled that situation with anger instead of considering why it was not cool. Much love to you guys. Sorry,” he wrote.
