Jess Hilarious Affirms Her Position As A Permanent Co-Host Of “The Breakfast Club”

After weeks of suspense and uncertainty, the comedian announced that she would be returning to the program on February 5.

In a post she shared with her 5.5 million Instagram followers, Jess Hilarious revealed that she will be the official third co-host of the iconic New York radio program “The Breakfast Club” beginning on February 5.

Following the release of a viral video in late December, Hilarious revealed that she had been recruited for the coveted position.

This public announcement follows the viral video. Soon after the tape was made available to the public, Charlamagne Tha God, another co-host, disputed that the program had identified a replacement for Angela Yee, who had been a co-host for a very long period and had departed the show in 2022.

“Everyone saw us rotating guest hosts last year,” Charlamagne told a media reporter after Hilarious announced in December. It has yet to be determined whether we will begin 2024 with a new host, as we had previously said.

On the other hand, Hilarious published a short video statement on Monday. The film comprised a collection of sound snippets speculating that she was either never employed or dismissed after her original announcement.

The video that Hilarious posted on her Instagram account included her saying, “I wanted to be on ‘The Breakfast Club.'” “That is something that I had been looking for.

Who wouldn’t want to be the third co-host of a program highlighting the Hall of Fame? Let me tell you about one of the most popular programs on black culture. It is a significant opportunity to join.”

On the other hand, I was also required to take a stance on commercial matters and obtain what I was worth. “And then this sh-t happens, and boom,” Hilarious added as the video transitioned to a series of pictures of news stories saying that she had been terminated from her position. This is what the caption for Hilarious says: “Now do you see why.”

In 2022, Yee announced that she would be quitting the successful morning radio program after twelve years to start her own iHeartMedia weekday radio show called “Way Up with Angela Yee.”

When the producers were looking for a successor for Yee, Hilarious started acting as a temporary guest co-host, sometimes filling in his place. Additional guest co-hosts included the musician and television personality Ray J, the DJ Nyla Simone, and Porsha Williams, who had previously been a cast member on “Real Housewives.”
