Gunplay was arrested today on various offenses, including reportedly pointing a firearm at his wife and kid

On Saturday night (August 19), the Miami rapper was arrested on allegations of aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon, domestic violence, false imprisonment, and child abuse.

According to a report, Gunplay pointed a pistol at his wife while carrying their kid after she urged him to be quiet while playing Xbox.

Gunplay (Richard Morales Jr.) has apparently rejected all claims and is being imprisoned on a $20,000 bond.

Vonshae Taylor-Morales, Gunplay’s wife, went to Instagram on Sunday (August 20) to describe the “traumatizing” episode, saying he was frightening their infant while playing Call of Duty.

She also stated that he has an alcohol problem and that she intends to file for divorce to protect herself and her children.

“I just want everyone to know my daughter, and I are safe,” she said. “Unfortunately, Richard has relapsed and developed a severe drinking problem.” I’ve done all I could to assist and adore him.

“To recap the events of yesterday night. I urged Richard to be quiet since he was shouting at the baby asleep while playing Call of Duty. He began yelling at me for begging him to remain quiet.”

“I tried to collect a bag so my daughter and I could go to a room while he sobers up,” she said. He didn’t want us to go, so everything moved quickly to the left.

“He was arrested last night, and police are holding the weapon.” I have a restraining order, custody of my kid, and a divorce. He’ll never have another opportunity to offend us.”

“Thank you all for your good wishes and prayers,” she wrote. Please keep me in your prayers, as this has been a very traumatic experience.”

Gunplay, the former MMG rapper, threatened to shoot at a club in July because the DJ played a 50 Cent song during his birthday celebration.

Gunplay demanded an explanation for the music selection and started forcefully creating a route into the DJ booth by tossing a trash can.

His rage grew as he menacingly advised against physical contact, threatening to use guns to handle the problem.

The tension rose as he ominously stated his intention to harm everyone there, casting a gloomy shadow over the place.

A request for information regarding Gunplay’s location surfaced amid the turmoil, underlining the gravity of the situation.
