Glorilla, who is considered one of the best emerging talents in the industry, finally met her idol Beyonce in the 2023 Grammy Awards. Her journey to the Grammys and hugging Beyonce has been a rapid one. Barely a year ago, the Memphis-born rapper was working at a fast-food restaurant in her hometown.
The “Tomorrow 2” rapper posted a video of her meeting Beyonce with the caption “I met Beyonce bye!!!!! My life is COMPLETE.”
She didn’t stop there.
She posted on Facebook again a few hours later “I’m finna get my 15 second conversation with Beyoncé tatted !!!!!!ahhhhhhh I’m still not over it,”
GloRilla was nominated for the Best Rap Performance category. She didn’t win, but that hardly mattered to her as she went up Cloud 9 after her rendezvous with Beyonce.
The “F.N. F (Let’s Go)” artist spoke recently with Grammy.com about her dream to collaborate with Beyonce and Chief Keef.
“There’s a lot of people I want to do songs with that I’m a fan of,” she noted. “But my top two that I’m extremely obsessed with is Beyoncé and Chief Keef. I want to work with Drake and Lil Wayne, too.”
