LeBron James scored an unbelievable 39,000 career points in the game of Los Angeles Lakers vs Utah Jazz at Crypto.com Arena. The leakers defeated Utah Jazz by 131-99.

During the first quarter of the game, James beat the previous world record of 38,387 points held by Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. According to the NBA, if James goes at this pace, he will likely achieve 40,000-point milestone.

He continued, “To be able to accomplish something that’s the first of anything, I think that’s always pretty cool. It’s a wild moment, that’s for sure.”

In a double feat during the same play, the ‘King’ not only secured the 39,000-point milestone but also made his 2,291st three-pointer, surpassing Vince Carter and ascending to the seventh spot in the all-time list.

The Lakers’ victory, coupled with James’ historic performance, solidified their 4-0 record in West Group A, securing a spot in the knockout round of the NBA’s new In-Season Tournament.

As James continues to redefine basketball greatness, a fitting tribute to his illustrious career is set to open in his hometown of Akron. The LeBron James’ Home Court museum, launching on November 25th, will provide a multimedia experience showcasing James’ journey, from his childhood to high school basketball and his iconic NBA career.

The museum will feature notable artifacts, including the iconic all-white suit worn by James on NBA Draft day in 2003 and an original backboard and rim from St. Vincent–St. Mary High School, where he gained acclaim as one of the most anticipated prospects in the history of the sport.

“My dream was always to put Akron on the map, so to have a place in my hometown that allows me to share my journey with my fans from all over the world means a lot to me,” James shared. “I’ve been known to hang on to a lot of things over the years, and I always knew there would be a time and place to bring them out.”
