Mississippi Woman Accused of Killing Husband on Facebook Live

A Mississippi Woman was arrested after she allegedly shot and killed a man on Facebook Live on Saturday.

According to Fox2Now officials from the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) responded to a domestic violence call in Columbus and found a 28-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound.

According to LCSO, the woman Kadejah Michelle Brown and the man, 28, had an altercation that turned physical and violent. Authorities recovered the gun used in the shooting from the site. The police have confirmed that the murdered man was Kadejah’s husband.

Eddie Hawkins, Lowndes County Sheriff, told the media: “There was a history of domestic violence between Brown and the victim. This was a tragic and senseless murder, and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the victim. Fortunately, Brown is in custody, and we look forward to the criminal justice system holding her accountable.”

“Deputies from the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic violence call at 500 Green tree Drive around 7:42 a.m., Saturday, March 25, 2023. LCSO deputies arrested 28-year-old KADEJAH MICHELLE BROWN charging her with murder after a shooting during which one male victim was killed,” the LCSO said in a Facebook post.


“A 28-year-old male victim who lived in the residence died from a single gunshot wound. It appeared that BROWN and the victim were involved in an argument that turned physical. This incident was captured on audio/video on Facebook live. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. a 9 mm handgun was recovered at the scene along with other physical evidence. BROWN was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center where she is being held awaiting her initial appearance. No bond and been sat at this time. This incident remains under investigation.”
