Eminem attacks Candace Owens in new song following her 'gay' remarks

Eminem attacks Candace Owens in new song following her ‘gay’ remarks . Eminem is no stranger to controversy. Although he hasn’t released an album since 2020’s “Music to Be Murdered By”, he’s back with a new one titled “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace)”. In this album, Eminem targets his usual suspects, including Christopher Reeve, but also takes aim at conservative figurehead Candace Owens.

In the track “Lucifer,” Eminem raps: “And Candace O, I ain’t mad at her, I ain’t got’ throw the fact that b—- forgot she was Black back at her.” He continues, “Laugh at her, like them crackers she’s backin’ after her back is turned in a cute MAGA hat with her brand new White Lives Matter shirt.” Eminem’s critique doesn’t stop there; he adds, “Or say this MAGA dirtbag in a skirt just opened the biggest can of worms on the whole planet Earth.”

Eminem even gives Owens a new moniker: “Call her ‘Grand Wizard,’ ‘Kandace,’ or ‘Grand Dragon.’” He concludes his attack with, “Like the national anthem, I won’t stand for the tramp,” before adding in traditional tongue-in-cheek fashion, “But I can’t diss her ‘ because my plans are to get in her pants and I’ll blow my chance if I answer back to her.”

This attack on Owens, while seemingly sudden, has its roots in an incident from last summer. During his campaign for the Republican Presidential nomination, Vivek Ramaswamy performed Eminem’s “Lose Yourself.” Eminem responded by issuing a cease and desist letter, demanding Ramaswamy stop using his music.

Owens didn’t take this lightly. She responded on her podcast by attacking Eminem, even questioning his sexuality. “Some people say that when we get older we get wiser,” Owens remarked. “I hope that to be the case. Some people also say that when we get older we get grayer. We know that’s true. But for Eminem, the once hardcore rapper, it seems that he is getting older and gayer. Yes. Eminem might be gay… he certainly sent Vivek Ramaswamy a very weird cease-and-desist letter demanding that he stop rapping his music on the campaign trail.”

Owens continued, “We all know an Eminem song and we all know that what came with an Eminem song was obviously very inappropriate and sometimes outright violent lyrics but also Eminem liked to make jokes about being gay. He was kind and focused on gayness in a lot of his music…Eminem’s getting older and he needs to read the room. Sometimes Grandpa needs to sit down… he is definitely deteriorating with age.”

As of now, Owens has yet to respond to Eminem’s latest lyrics, as the song just dropped at midnight. However, given her history of not holding back, it’s only a matter of time before she issues a reply.

Eminem’s critique of Owens is not surprising considering his history of taking on public figures and societal issues in his music. His previous controversies have often involved provocative lyrics aimed at celebrities, politicians, and social norms. This latest album continues that tradition, blending sharp criticism with his characteristic lyrical style.

Owens’ past statements about Eminem reflect the ongoing tension between the rapper and conservative figures. Her comments about his age and perceived change in attitude underscore a broader cultural clash between Eminem’s provocative style and conservative values.

Eminem’s new album, particularly the track “Lucifer,” is sure to stir public debate and media attention, much like his previous works. As fans and critics dissect his latest lyrics, the feud between Eminem and Owens will likely continue to be a focal point in discussions about the intersection of music, politics, and cultural commentary.
