Spending time with your children is precious, and Angela White is excited about the opportunity to connect with them more in 2024. The model (previously known as Blac Chyna) just revealed fresh facts regarding her custody arrangement with her ex, Rob Kardashian, and ex, Tyga, and she is overjoyed.
“I struggled through it. It’s finished. I’m very thrilled. “You have no idea,” she told the media about her custody dispute on Tuesday.
She has 50/50 custody of her 11-year-old son, King Cairo, with ex Tyga, and her 6-year-old daughter, Dream Kardashian, with ex-Kardashian.
“[It works] well. I’m doing better, my children. Having structure and stability is everything to me. Everything else will flow down because our base is solid.”
White just finished 16 months of recovery and has been focusing on her health. The former reality star has been battling Tyga (real name Michael Stevenson) for custody of King since October 2023, when her ex petitioned for legal and physical custody of their kid.
“I have always respected him as King’s father, and I know that we both love him very much and want nothing but the best for him,” she told E! News at the time of filing.
“I never imagined that Michael would want to alienate or distance me from King and strategically push me out of his life.”
She described the scenario as “very sad” and “definitely not what is best for King.” “In a perfect world,” she said, “Michael and I would be supportive, loving co-parents equally involved in King’s life.”
White and Kardashian parted a few months after their daughter Dream was born, resulting in another contentious custody fight.
They agreed to split custody in 2020, but things became tense again when White sued the Kardashian Jenners for slander, eventually losing the case in May 2022.
Since then, the ex-partners seem to have moved on from their relationship. In August 2023, White told Entertainment Tonight that she and Kardashian “have more things that we have to worry about, aside from that.” She said, “Why have this feud when we gonna be family forever?”
She now appreciates having equal time to care for both of her children.
In her interview with ET yesterday, White said, “I just want time with my kids.” And if I have to go to court and fight for it, that is precisely what I will do. And I’m pretty delighted. I’m pleased, the kids are happy, and, most importantly, it’s about the children.” That is the most essential thing!
