Whoopi Goldberg defends Biden amid step down calls: ‘I don’t care if he’s pooped his pants’.She emphasized her loyalty to the president regardless of his critics.

The co-hosts of “The View” had a lively discussion about President Biden’s re-election campaign, with Whoopi Goldberg saying she would support him regardless of his physical and mental capability. Goldberg stated that she wants to see evidence that Biden cannot perform his duties as president before considering abandoning his campaign.

“I don’t care if he’s pooped his pants. I don’t care if he can’t put a sentence together. Show me he can’t do the job, and then I’ll say, OK. Maybe it’s time to go,” Goldberg said.

She also pointed out that Biden had a “bad night” during a debate against Kamala Harris in the 2020 Democratic primaries but still went on to win the election.

“Now, I’m not running the world, but I don’t know anybody who doesn’t step in stuff at some point. So, I’m just simply saying, yeah. There are two debates, and if he can’t do what he needs to do for the second debate, I’ll join any crew that says get rid of him,” she added.

Amid calls for step down, while makority pro Democrat media anchors have jumped the similar narrative, Whoopi argument to still sticking to the Biden as nominee explains how some still don’t find a problem with a 82 year old who had a bad outing at the presidential debate has nothing to do with his administration acumen.

Ana Navarro, a diehard Biden supporter, criticized the media for their “breathless reporting” and “gotcha moments” aimed at Biden. She urged the media to “give some clarity to their coverage,” suggesting that in their efforts to fact-check Biden, they, too, are making “mistakes.”

Alyssa Farah Griffin noted that most Americans will not have the chance to assess Biden’s competency in person and that the debate performance will influence the election outcome. She also claimed that the House and Senate are at risk in November, not just the White House.

Sara Haines admitted she would vote for Biden but doubts his ability to beat Trump under current circumstances. She said, “I actually would argue, unpopular take, I think Kamala Harris would perform better because I think voters felt gaslit being told Biden is as sharp as a tack. I think a young, energetic Democrat running and saying they’re the top of the ticket actually will perform better head-to-head.”

The discussion highlighted the divided opinions on Biden’s re-election campaign and his chances against Trump. The president’s performance in the recent debate sparked concerns about his mental and physical health, leading some to question his ability to lead the country.
