Trump Details U.S. Takeover Plan for Gaza Without Military Involvement

President Donald Trump has outlined his plan for the U.S. to assume control of the Gaza Strip following the conclusion of the ongoing conflict. In a statement on Truth Social, Trump claimed that the transition would occur without the need for American military involvement.

“The Gaza Strip would be turned over to the United States by Israel at the conclusion of fighting,” Trump wrote.

He insisted that his plan would bring lasting stability to the region.

Trump stated that Palestinians would be resettled in modern, well-developed communities in the surrounding region. He specifically mentioned Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer while discussing relocation efforts, though he did not provide details on where Palestinians would be moved.

His proposal also includes clearing Gaza of war debris, unexploded bombs, and destroyed infrastructure. Trump said that U.S. and international development teams would oversee the reconstruction of the area, transforming it into a thriving economic zone with housing and employment opportunities. Trump made it clear that no U.S. troops would be deployed to enforce this plan. He emphasized that the primary goal was to establish order and prosperity without direct military intervention.

Arab nations have publicly rejected Trump’s proposal, but some experts suggest they may support it in private. According to a former Israel-Palestine negotiator, regional leaders may view the plan as a way to permanently remove Hamas from power.
