Trina Responds to Angry Barbz’s Questions About Her Calling Beyoncé the “Queen of Rap”. After receiving backlash, Trina continues to refer to Beyoncé as the “Queen of Rap.” “Go argue with the IRS or somebody else.”
When Trina declared Beyoncé the best female rapper earlier this week, she received a lot of negative feedback. The 45-year-old musician reiterated her earlier remarks and urged others to find other discussion partners.
In her Instagram story on Thursday, December 28, she said, “For the dusty crusty funky bi**hes in the back, Beyoncé is the queen of rap (when she raps) and ALL other genres of music.”
“Now go get mad, fools. I said what I said, and NANN bu**h gon’ check me.” Move forward.
The Miami rapper technically went one step further when she expanded on her assertion in a post on her Instagram page.
“I have all of your attention now ‼️ I’m really running a little behind schedule at the party since I’ve been too preoccupied taking care of business to notice that this foolishness is occurring today,” she added. Since today is a quiet one for blogging and bullsh*t, let me clarify that this interview was conducted at The One Music Festival in October.
I really don’t care how anybody feels; I said what I had to say, and I’m going to stick with the Queen Bey on that.
Trina wrote, “Go argue with the IRS or somebody else”. Beyonce is the Queen of rap (when she raps) and ALL genres of music when it comes to me ‼️.” And we’re not debating it here. Proceed and enjoy the remainder of the day, and remember to tidy up behind your couches prior to the start of the new year.
Everything started when a media outlet released a snippet of her interview that was conducted at Atlanta’s One MusicFest earlier this week. In October, the rapper of “Here We Go” acknowledged Salt-N-Pepa as her first inspiration and celebrated the whole female rapper scene, but her remarks on the Renaissance singer soon gained attention.
True, Beyoncé. So when she raps, she is the best female rapper available. When asked what she thought made female rap possible in the present form, she said, “There’s no sleeping on the Queen.” “Obviously, it’s Queen Beyoncé, but when you hear a song with rapping in it, you just think, ‘Oh my God, this is even more inspirational.'”
A number of individuals expressed their disagreement with Trina on X, previously known as Twitter, providing arguments for their positions. One commenter said, “What’s funny about that Trina interview isn’t the Beyoncé opening doors comment; it’s the fact that Trina has been in the game for more than 20 years and couldn’t even say her name.”
Another individual added, “I’m not gonna lie; Trina is a hater.” “She actually stated that Beyoncé is the rap queen, and she stands by her words, like a girl.”
A fan conjectured that Trina’s remark stemmed from her supposed conflict with Nicki Minaj and her unwillingness to give her due credit. They said, “Trina still mad at Nicki because she wouldn’t pay for her last album’s entire rollout like it was her own… like what do you mean Beyoncé opened doors for female rap LMFAOOOOOO.”
