Tony Yayo discloses profits from 50 Cent’s final lap tour: ‘The financial gain is impressive’. As the last member of G-Unit to maintain a cordial relationship with 50 Cent, Tony Yayo enjoys financial benefits from their brotherhood.
In a recent interview with the media, Yayo provided financial details on 50’s enormous Final Lap Tour, which took place in July and December in over 70 cities across 20 countries.
The “So Seductive” rapper said he earned “six figures” as a support act on the global tour, but he could not provide exact numbers. He claimed that 50 Cent made millions of dollars from tour merchandise alone.
Millions of people own his merchandise. He’s a legend,” he said. “Anybody you ask, including the Live Nation tour managers, will tell you that your favorite rapper can’t do what 50 just accomplished.”
Yayo said, “I don’t ask for too much,” when asked why he didn’t sell any of his merchandise while on tour. Why would I trouble you for more when I make six figures? It’s awesome.
That doesn’t worry me at all. I promise I’m writing a fantastic check. The money is excellent; it’s tremendous money.
Regarding 50’s tour revenues, Yayo refused to substantiate Vlad’s assertion that he “probably made over $100 million gross in just ticket sales.”
During the interview, Tony Yayo refuted the idea that G-Unit mogul 50 Cent is a “bad guy” and called touring with him a “movie.”
“You must realize that many artists are not treated well,” he said. “Although many believe that Fif is a horrible person when you stay at the Four Seasons, you can see the Eiffel Tower, and when you visit the W in Bahrain, you can drink Ranis while visiting the ocean.
A Formula One racetrack surrounds the hotel. Giorgio Armani was missing from breakfast. It’s a damn good film! Working with 50 is like watching a bad movie, dude!
Yayo complimented his label president’s rigorous work ethic: “We just finished six shows in a row. I’m tired.” 50 is lifting cranes, sprinting on stages, changing seven different clothing, and going to the gym twice daily. 50 isn’t messing around. He doesn’t consume pot and doesn’t drink in that manner. He’s getting movie agreements, reading screenplays, and access to studios similar to Tyler Perry’s in Louisiana. It thus inspires you to strive more when you see someone doing it.
