The Game announces he is expecting a new child, embracing fatherhood again at 44.
The Game, a charismatic rapper with harsh lyrics, is prepared to father again. He announced it on the “Tacos & Shawarma” podcast at 44. The Compton musician, who has three kids, seemed delighted and unconcerned by changing diapers in his 40s.
Elle asked The Game about twin rumours on the podcast. The rapper clarified, “Twins need internet abstinence. One child coming.” His humorous reaction set the tone for his new dadhood discourse.
“I’m expecting one child,” The Game said, clearing up rumours of twins.
The Game opened out about being an older dad and cited JAY-Z as an influence. JAY-Z, who had twins Rumi and Sir at 47, proves that parenthood is ageless. The Game said, “I’m 44, so when my new child is 21, I’ll be 65. That appears old until you consider who’s 65. Mariah Carey must be 10 years older than me. JAY-Z or someone.”
He added, “Probably 60 is their next big birthday. They’re still young and cool, so it’s okay. Ultimately, it’s new life.”
The Game admitted that this will be different from his younger fatherhood. “When I was younger, I was a street tough. I don’t know how I got here doing what I was doing,” he said. “But I made it, my kids are fine, smart, straight-A students, so parenting at this age will be interesting.”
The Game kept the mother of his unborn child a secret despite his openness.
The rapper has three children: 2003-born Harlem Caron Taylor, 2007-born King Justice, and 2010-born Cali Dream. The Game constantly declares his affection for his kids. On his 19th birthday in 2022, Harlem said on Instagram, “Happy Birthday son (@harlemtaylorr) you were & always will be the motivation I needed to alter my lifestyle & become something better than I ever was before your birth.” Thank you.”
He wrote, “I named you Harlem because that’s the 1st place [Jim Jones] took me my 1st time in New York when I landed at JFK.” You are the best son, guy, and older brother Cali and King could ask for.”
Besides personal news, The Game revealed intriguing professional ambitions. He plans to release “The Documentary 3” in January to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut album (“The Documentary.”). “I’m definitely gonna start the new album and I ain’t told anybody that. I’ll go hard with The Documentary 3 and drop it the same day as the other. I accept the task. It will be hard.”
The Game balances his personal and musical lives as he prepares for his baby. The new record and family addition are highly anticipated by his followers. The Game’s 44-year-old fatherhood shows that age doesn’t matter.
