Suspect in Bucks County Family Killings Faces Charges in PA and NJ. The person charged with a terrible act that rocked Bucks County faces charges on both sides of the Delaware River. In Pennsylvania, Andre Gordon, 26, faces three murder, aggravated assault, robbery, and other charges, according to court filings. Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin also charged him with carjacking and firearms violations in New Jersey.

After a tense confrontation in Trenton, New Jersey, Gordon was captured Saturday afternoon. Gordon allegedly holed himself in a Phillips Avenue home. He evaded law enforcement’s perimeter until being arrested without incident near New York Avenue.

Trenton police director Steve Wilson said Gordon was located wandering on New York Avenue and arrested without resistance. Officers are still searching for the shooting weapon, even though he was unarmed when arrested.

Gordon was first suspected of holding hostages in the barricaded residence. All residents were evacuated securely without injuries. Gordon was arrested early Saturday morning after carjacking a Trenton woman, stealing her car, and driving to Bucks County.

Gordon killed three family members in Levittown, Pennsylvania, with a series of brutal crimes. His stepmother, Karen Gordon, 52, his 13-year-old sister, Kera Gordon, and his two-child mother, Taylor Daniel, 25, were killed. Before Gordon left, Daniel’s mother was beaten.

Gordon’s actions prompted Falls Township’s shelter-in-place order quickly. The manhunt forced the Bucks County St. Patrick’s Day Parade to be canceled and Sesame Place and Oxford Valley Mall to close.

Despite Gordon’s minor legal issues, officials have not determined a reason for the violent attacks. Falls Township Police Chief Nelson Whitney stressed that Gordon’s prior offenses did not prejudge his actions.
