Kendrick Lamar delivered a jaw-dropping performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, and for many, it felt like a direct blow to Drake. As previously reported, Lamar performed his hard-hitting tracks “Not Like Us” and “Euphoria,” both of which have been at the center of his ongoing feud with Drake.

However, what made the performance even more intense was the unexpected appearance of Serena Williams as one of the on-field dancers during “Not Like Us.”

This moment added another layer of intrigue to the ongoing drama, considering her history with both artists. For more updates check our Youtube channel.

Lamar kicked off the show in dramatic fashion, accompanied by legendary actor Samuel L. Jackson, who took on the role of Uncle Sam. The rapper then treated fans to an electrifying lineup of hits from his GNX era, setting the stage for the highly anticipated moments that would follow.

While the audience enjoyed the variety, the real anticipation was for the tracks that took direct shots at Drake. He performed “Euphoria” first, a track known for its deeply personal lyrics aimed at his rival, before building up to the grand moment his explosive rendition of “Not Like Us.”

Adding further insult to injury, Lamar even took a jab at Drake’s legal battle against Universal Music Group before launching into what has arguably become the biggest rap anthem of 2024.

Serena Williams’ presence at the performance was significant given her past with Drake. Years ago, the two were rumored to have been romantically involved, but their relationship did not last.

Over time, Drake made subtle references to her in his music, often interpreted as veiled disses. Meanwhile, Serena, a proud Compton native, naturally aligned herself with Lamar. This backstory explains why her participation in the performance felt like more than just a dance it was a statement.

Despite Lamar’s electrifying performance, the Super Bowl itself was proving to be a letdown.
