Erika Jayne’s son, Thomas “Tommy” Zizzo Jr., who serves as a member of the Los Angeles Police Department, was one of the first witnesses to testify in the ongoing assault trial of rapper A$AP Rocky.

Zizzo, who is the son of Jayne’s first husband, Thomas Zizzo Sr., was called to the stand as part of the prosecution’s case regarding a 2021 shooting incident outside a hotel. According to TMZ, Zizzo described what he observed upon arriving at the scene.

Despite his mother’s high-profile role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Tommy Zizzo Jr. has maintained a low profile and has never appeared on the show. In a 2020 interview with Andy Cohen, Jayne discussed her son’s decision to stay out of the spotlight, emphasizing that Tommy didn’t choose the public life she leads.

“I don’t care if he’s an adult and he carries a gun and a badge. At the end of the day, he’s still my boy. He’s a very fine young man, and I’m super proud,” she said.

The trial stems from an alleged incident in which A$AP Rocky is accused of firing a gun at a former friend, A$AP Relli, during a confrontation in 2021. The rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, faces serious charges of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. For more updates check our Youtube channel.

He rejected a plea deal earlier in the case, which would have involved a 180-day jail sentence, three years probation, 500 hours of community service, and a guilty plea to the felony charge of assault with a firearm. Sources reported that accepting the plea deal would have severely impacted A$AP Rocky’s career, potentially ending his endorsement deals with major brands like Gucci and Puma, and barring him from touring.

A$AP Rocky is facing up to 24 years in prison if convicted. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
