Darius Jackson, Keke Palmer’s Ex, Has Filed For His Own Domestic Violence Restraining Order

Restraining Order Against Keke Palmer

Darius Jackson Files Restraining Order Against Keke Palmer. Keke Palmer was given temporary exclusive custody of their kid and a temporary restraining order against Darius Jackson in November.

To protect himself from the actress Keke Palmer, Darius Jackson has filed a request for a domestic violence restraining order against her.

According to court records acquired by the media, Jackson, 29, filed the lawsuit against the 30-year-old Nope actress earlier this week.

He is asking Palmer to avoid getting in touch with him and to keep a hundred yards clear of him, his house, and his car.

In addition, Jackson asked that the hearing be rescheduled for January 9 and conducted “concurrently” with Palmer’s “existing” request for a domestic violence restraining order.

Early in November, Palmer was given exclusive custody of their 9-month-old son, Leodis “Leo” Andrellton, and a temporary restraining order against Jackson.

According to her, on November 5, Jackson “trespassed into my home” and “threatened me, then physically attacked me — lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone when I told him I was going to call the police.” Palmer said that her mother and sister saw the abuse, which she claimed happened over two years.

According to papers acquired by the media, Jackson replied to Palmer’s lawsuit last week, asserting that Palmer was “the primary aggressor” in their relationship.

Jackson said that the actress “engaged in abusive conduct during the two-and-a-half-year relationship,” subjecting him to both “physical and verbal abuse,” and he detailed many alleged incidents that dated back to August 2021.

According to the court documents, he alleges that Palmer has repeatedly struck, choked, and punched him. She reportedly “called him over 200 times and sent him over 50 emails on one particular day.”

In the lawsuit, Jackson said that he changed his phone number in March 2022 “to avoid further harassment and threats” from Palmer, who he claimed “frequently became agitated and aggressive after consuming alcohol.”

Jackson further asked for “joint legal and physical custody” of their kid. He and the actress began dating in 2021. Palmer had “unilaterally eliminated any access” to Leo, he alleged in the complaint.

Jackson has requested a concurrent hearing for January 9th, after the postponement of the couple’s December 5th scheduled court appointment, to “allow the parties time to attend mediation.”

Since then, Palmer’s exclusive custody has been extended, with both parties agreeing that the temporary restraining order will “remain in full force and effect” until the rescheduled hearing.

The actress “agreed to mediation because the case has gotten so much speculation and media attention, and she is concerned about her privacy, Leo’s privacy, and the privacy of her family,” a source close to the actress previously told the media.
