During a recent conversation with Complex, Jonathan Majors addressed newly surfaced audio, where he seemingly acknowledged having “aggressed” his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari following a dispute in 2022.

When asked about the leaked recording Majors refrained from directly commenting on its content. Instead, he repeatedly emphasized his commitment to personal growth, stating that he continues to “do my work.” This phrase appeared to reference the efforts he has made to confront the issues highlighted in the recording.

Majors was legally mandated to complete a 52 week domestic violence intervention program after being convicted of misdemeanor assault and harassment against Jabbari. Following the verdict, Marvel severed ties with the actor who had previously portrayed Kang the Conqueror in Disney’s Loki series and the film Ant Man and the Wasp Quantumania. His sentencing did not include any jail time.

“I was so grateful that I had done my work, you know? And I’m continuing to do my work,” Majors said in response to the controversy. “Because, I mean, I can’t speak to it. But obviously because you’re talking about it.

There were vibrations, you know? Reverberations. Same as everything before, you know? But I was just I was happy I’d done my work, you know? I was happy I had done my work.”

The leaked audio captures a moment between Majors and Jabbari while they were living together in London during the filming of Loki’s second season.

Despite the controversy Majors is currently focused on promoting his latest film Magazine Dreams, which has been released in theaters. Directed by Elijah Bynum the movie stars Majors alongside Taylour Paige, Harrison Page, Haley Bennett, Harriet Sansom Harris, and Mike O’Hearn. The story follows aspiring bodybuilder Killian Maddox, a role played by Majors.
