KeKe Jabbar from OWN’s Love & Marriage: Huntsville has reportedly passed away at the age of 42.

Social media personality Marcella Speaks announced Jabbar’s death on Tuesday, July 2, sharing that she received the news from Jabbar’s family. During a YouTube live stream, Marcella read a statement from the family, revealing that Jabbar passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. The exact cause of her death has not been disclosed.

“We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved KeKe. She peacefully passed away at home surrounded by love. She was a cherished mother, sister, and friend known for her vibrant spirit, affection, and laughter. Her absence will be deeply felt, and during this time, we kindly request privacy and respect as we navigate through this profound loss. The Jabbar Family and the Scott Family,” read the statement.

Jabbar’s cousin and fellow reality TV star, LaTisha Scott, posted on Instagram the same day, urging everyone to give the family space during this difficult time.

“We ask for RESPECT and PRIVACY as we grieve this tremendous loss! This is an incredibly tough time for our family!!!!!” Scott wrote.

After news of Jabbar’s passing surfaced, fans expressed their condolences on her last Instagram post dated May 26, where she announced her swim wig line during a Memorial Day weekend celebration with her family by the pool.

“Rest In Peace KeKe ️,” one user wrote in the comments.

Another said, “Wow! Terrible and tragic news! She can finally be at peace. ️.”

“Wow… R.I.P., Keke. You were a real one, honey. Fly high. ,” another user commented. Some also hoped that Jabbar’s wig line would still be released in her memory.

Before her Memorial Day post, Jabbar had shared several photos celebrating her oldest son Amaree’s high school graduation.

She is survived by her husband, three children, parents, and cousins.
