Attorney General Pam Bondi has strongly warned Rep. Jasmine Crockett to be cautious after the congresswoman suggested that Elon Musk should be “taken down” during a recent activist call. Speaking on “Sunday Morning Futures,” Bondi made it clear that authorities would not tolerate threats or actions against Tesla owners.

“She is an elected public official, so she needs to tread very carefully because nothing will happen to Elon Musk, and we are going to fight to protect all the Tesla owners throughout this country,” Bondi stated.

Crockett’s comments came during a virtual meeting with the Tesla Takedown movement, a group urging people to sell their Tesla vehicles and boycott the company. She said her “birthday wish” was for Musk to be “taken down,” adding that financial pressure was the only effective way to hold powerful individuals accountable.

Following backlash, Crockett clarified that her remarks were not meant to incite violence and were instead about fighting for democracy through economic activism. However, Republicans argue that her words contribute to an already tense situation, where Tesla properties have been vandalized, and some vehicles set on fire. Three individuals accused of damaging Tesla dealerships and charging stations now face up to 20 years in prison for domestic terrorism.
