Ne-Yo Faces Criticism After Seeking Joint Custody of the Two Sons He Welcomed with Alleged Mistress While Married

American singer and songwriter, Ne-Yo, has filed to get parental rights for his two youngest children he had with girlfriend, Sade Bagnerise, which led to a divorce from his ex-wife, Crystal Renay.

Ne-Yo has asked the court for parentage of his two sons, Braiden and Brixton, and for joint legal and physical custody of them

 

He said they had Braiden In 2021 and Brixton just last February, adding that he was also hoping they’d be eligible to inherit from him as if they were born in wedlock.

The singer and Renay filed for divorce last year in Atlanta and are officially ex-spouses with court documents.

After Crystal filed for divorce, she trashed Ne-Yo accusing him of cheating on her.

“8 years of lies and deception. 8 years of unknowingly sharing my life and husband with numerous of women who sell their bodies to him unprotected … every last one of them!”

Renay wrote

“To say I’m heartbroken and disgusted is an understatement. To ask me to stay and accept it is absolutely insane. The mentality of a narcissist.”

He noted that he had fathered a child with Bagnerise during his marriage and Renay, on the other hand, claimed she’d been taking care of their three children since their divorce.

Ne-Yo said that he was simply enjoying his single life for now, but his lover had been keeping him in her social media posts lately.

Ne-Yo reached a settlement with his ex-wife Crystal in their bitter divorce.

Per the deal, Ne-Yo was awarded 3 of his 4 homes and a 2022 Bentley.

Crystal scored a $1.6 million lump sum, 1 property, and $20k to help her move. Ne-Yo also agreed to pay his ex $150k to buy her a new car.

Ne-Yo was ordered to pay Crystal $12k a month in child support for their 3 kids. Crystal will also be paid $3k per month in alimony for the next 3 years. The two agreed to share joint custody of their kids.
