Maleesa Mooney A Deceased LA Model Had An Autopsy That Revealed Shocking New Information About Her Life. Mooney’s corpse was discovered in a refrigerator in her fancy high-rise condominium in downtown Los Angeles on September 12, according to investigators. The autopsy report, which was received on Monday but was dated Oct. 18, contains the findings of drug testing, which may take months to complete.
According to the report, Mooney sustained blunt force trauma, which manifested as abrasions, cuts, and contusions all over her head and neck, as well as her whole body.
According to the report, police officers found Mooney’s corpse when her mother, presumably concerned since she hadn’t been in contact, called the high-rise management to check on her.
It was the second time that month that Los Angeles police officers checked on Mooney’s wellbeing, according to the report. Officers checking on her at the request of her sister knocked on the flat door two days earlier and departed when there was no response, according to the report.
According to the complaint, they had the assistance of the building’s management on Sept. 12, which allowed them in with a key. Inside, they discovered food that would ordinarily be kept in a refrigerator on a counter.
According to the complaint, when they opened the refrigerator, they discovered Mooney inside, her wrists and ankles tied and her mouth gagged — all with clothes and other objects such as wires. It further said that a piece of clothing was placed around her neck.
According to the report, she arrived at the apartment on September 5 with a lady and a male; the following day’s elevator footage is the last picture of her alive.
On Sept. 7, a guy was caught on surveillance camera using Mooney’s security key to access elevators, according to the report. According to the report, he brought plastic bags to the residence.
Mooney moved into the Figueroa Street building in early August, and she was supposed to return to her previous location on September 9 to recover the remainder of her stuff, according to the report.
When she didn’t show up, family members got worried, according to the report, and her mother requested the first of two welfare checks the following day.
Mooney’s corpse was discovered with blunt force damage to her head and neck, a “triangular” cut on her forehead, abrasions front and back, and signs from being tied up, according to the investigation.
“These injuries suggest she was likely involved in a violent physical altercation before her death,” according to the study. “The cause of death is deemed homicidal violence.”
The drug tests revealed “recent cocaine use,” according to the report. “The role that drugs and alcohol may have played in Ms. Mooney’s death, if any, is uncertain.”
According to the story, a Los Angeles police investigator has been assigned to investigate, and no suspects are in jail.
On September 28, sister Pauline said on Instagram that she would continue to work for “#JUSTICEFORMALEESA” because she would not allow the issue to “become a cold case.”
“We must stand up for all women of colour,” she said. “Whoever did this to you will be found and severely prosecuted.”
