Rapper Lil Nas X Reveals Sudden Health Condition

Popular rapper Lil Nas X has revealed that he is dealing with partial facial paralysis. The 26-year-old artist shared a series of videos from his hospital bed on social media, leaving fans both concerned and supportive.

In one video, the Old Town Road hitmaker tries to smile, but only the left side of his face moves. “I’ve lost control of the right side of my face,” he said, adding humor to the situation with, “This is me doing a full smile right now… I can’t even laugh right, bro!”

Staying Positive Through the Health Scare

Despite the concerning news, Lil Nas X appeared to be in good spirits. In another Instagram Story, he zoomed in on one side of his face saying, “We normal over here,” then switched to the paralyzed side and added, “We get crazy over here.”

To ease fan concerns, he wrote, “I’m OK! Stop being sad for me. Shake ur a** for me instead! I might look funny for a lil bit but that’s it.”

Following his announcement, fans and fellow celebrities showed their love and concern. Taraji P. Henson commented, “Get well baby,” while Niecy Nash wrote, “Wishing you a speedy recovery.”

Although Lil Nas X hasn’t disclosed the cause, facial paralysis can stem from various medical conditions. Justin Bieber experienced it in 2022 due to Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. In 2024, NBA star Joel Embiid was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy, yet continued playing despite facial weakness and blurred vision.
