Keke Palmer appears to have quietly canceled the release of her podcast episode featuring actor Jonathan Majors after facing intense backlash from fans online. The episode was reportedly scheduled to air this week as part of her series “Baby This Is Keke Palmer”, but instead a new episode featuring rapper Kash Doll was published on Tuesday.

Social media users quickly noticed the change and began circulating screenshots showing Majors had originally been listed as the guest. Neither Palmer nor Wondery, the network behind the podcast, have commented publicly on the switch.

The sudden change follows widespread criticism of Palmer for planning to feature Majors, who was convicted in December 2023 of assault and harassment against his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. Majors avoided jail time but was sentenced to probation and ordered to attend a year-long domestic violence intervention program. Audio evidence in the case captured Majors admitting to choking Jabbari, and she was later granted a restraining order.

Critics on X called out Palmer, saying she was enabling a man found guilty of abuse.

One user wrote, “Keke Palmer needs to be held accountable for platforming a serial abuser.” Another said, “Love Keke, but I’m side-eyeing her for inviting someone like Jonathan Majors on, especially after what she went through herself.”

The latter comment referred to Palmer’s own allegations against her ex, Darius Jackson. In November 2023, she accused him of physical abuse, property destruction, and threats to her safety. She initially sought a restraining order and full custody of their son, but the case was later dropped after the pair went through mediation.

Adding fuel to the fire, fans also resurfaced old interviews where Palmer once defended R. Kelly, further intensifying the scrutiny.

While Majors continues his public “redemption tour” for his upcoming film Magazine Dreams, Palmer’s silence has only deepened the debate surrounding accountability and platforming controversial figures.

Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR have finally dropped their highly anticipated joint album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, on February 14, 2025. The album, packed with 21 tracks, highlights the dynamic creative chemistry between the two OVO artists.
