The controversial rapper has indicated his return on Instagram with a cryptic post after his account was suspended three months ago for posting a song that referenced his antisemitism controversy.
Kanye, has had a whirlwind of a time off-late, involving a much-publicized divorce with Kim Kardashian, marriage with Australian Yeezy designer Bianca Censori, and loss of partnership with Adidas following comments perceived as antisemitic. The rapper has been on and off social media on account of these controversies.
Kanye appears to have taken a dig at Balenciaga by posting a picture of a black model walking the ramp wearing a gray full turtleneck from one of the fashion shows of the luxury brand. Kanye tagged Balenciaga in the photo and asked the fans to help him find a caption.
Like Kanye, Balenciaga has also courted controversy recently for a photoshoot that featured child models in bondage gear—which resulted in the luxury brand receiving tremendous backlash from fans.
But Kanye being Kanye, the cryptic post could also mean the beginning of a business partnership between the rapper and the luxury, both of whom, are not shy away from controversies.
