The new office is located on Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles between N.Edinburh and Laural, Donda Times reported. A small hair saloon separates the erstwhile business associates.
Kanye was dropped by Adidas after a string of antisemitic comments by the controversial rapper surfaced online—a move that has according to some estimates cost the German Shoe company almost half a billion dollars. The Yeezy sub-brand of Adidas, a collaboration with Kanye was wildly popular and brought in millions of dollars for the shoe company in sales annually.
According to the BBC Adidas’s profits dropped by a substantial 669 million euros last year. The total worth of unsold Yeezy stock at Adidas is now worth $1.3 billion, and the company still has not figured out what to do with it. Chief Executive of Adidas said in a statement, “The numbers speak for themselves. We are currently not performing the way we should.” BBC estimates that the German shoe giant could take a 500 million euro hit if it drops the Yeezy line.
There were rumors earlier this year that Adidas and Kanye may be renewing their partnership but talks reportedly failed to result in a breakthrough.
The animus between the rapper and Adidas has not subsided as Kanye trolls Adidas with a new store next door.
