Joe Budden went off on Michael B. Jordan after a red-carpet interview of the Creed III star went viral where he called out an ex-classmate for bullying him in Newark school.
“Dawg, you doing that to a girl is some corny n-gga shit. You being Michael B. Jordan today — allegedly sexiest man alive in all of these blockbuster movies, during your highlight week, you’ve probably never been more visible than you are right this second — and that’s what you do to her?”

Jordan was promoting his new movie “Creed III” when a reporter for the Atlanta-based Morning Hustle Radio show introduced herself and mentioned that she went to the same school as Michael in Newark. “We go way back, all the way back to Chad Science Academy in Newark,” the reporter said.
Michael recognized her right away and quickly interjected to remind her that she was one of the kids at the Chad Science Academy who used to “make fun” of him for having the same name as the Basketball legend. “Oh yeah, I was the corny kid, right?” Michael shot back. Reporter L’orel was not ready for this. She responded with an apologetic defense: “I did not say that, misquoted for sure.”
“Dawg, you doing that to a girl is some corny n-gga shit,” Budden went off on a rant on his website The Joe Budden Podcast. “You being Michael B. Jordan today — allegedly sexiest man alive in all of these blockbuster movies, during your highlight week, you’ve probably never been more visible than you are right this second — and that’s what you do to her?”
Budden also took a dig at Jordan’s alleged preference for white girls. “And if I bring back them white girl rumors, then it’s gonna sound even crazier! Cause why you talking to our sisters like that on the red carpet? We don’t even talk to white bitches like that. But I’m not gonna make it racial; they say I make everything racial. That was corny of him to speak to that girl like that.”
Budden then went all in: “Aye, Creed. What’s this n-gga’s name? Aye, Creed. In case you were confused, that corny ass shit you did is why n-ggas think you corny! You n-ggas keep thinking that money hides corniness.”
