Jack Schlossberg, grandson of President John F. Kennedy, launched an expletive-filled tirade against CNN for its coverage of newly released JFK assassination files. The Trump administration declassified 80,000 pages of documents on Tuesday, fulfilling a long-standing transparency promise. However, Schlossberg was not pleased with the media attention surrounding the release. For more updates check our Youtube channel.
In a video posted on X, the 32-year-old could be seen visibly frustrated while watching CNN’s coverage.
“You’re better than this. This is so f–king stupid. There’s so much actual news going on. Why are you covering this?” Schlossberg ranted.
He also called out CNN anchors by name, saying, “I love you, Harry Enten, you’re really smart. Why are you guys covering this? I love you, Erin Burnett, you’re really smart, why are you covering this?”
Schlossberg, son of former U.S. Ambassador Caroline Kennedy, later doubled down on social media, posting cryptic and sarcastic comments. “WHAT THE JFK FILES SAY ABOUT ME IS NOT TRUE,” he wrote, adding, “IM STRAIGHT.” He also took shots at his cousin, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., now serving in the Trump administration, claiming he knew about the release in advance.
“No — THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION DID NOT GIVE ANYONE IN PRESIDENT KENNEDY’S FAMILY ‘A HEADS UP’ ABOUT THE RELEASE,” Schlossberg fumed. “A total surprise, and not a shocker!! But @RobertKennedyJr definitely knew.”
Schlossberg has been vocal in his opposition to the Trump administration and previously criticized the decision to declassify JFK documents. “Declassification is using JFK as a political prop when he’s not here to punch back,” he said last month.
The document release has reignited debates about the 1963 assassination, with some hoping for new revelations. However, Schlossberg made it clear that he believes the story should be left in the past.
