Jamie Foxx Revived After Suffering From a Stroke on Set, Doctors Say, ‘He is Very Lucky to be Alive’

Jamie Foxx’s recent medical scare sent shockwaves through the film industry. The 55-year-old actor reportedly suffered a stroke while filming the action comedy Back In Action.

He has since been reported to be “awake and alert” and slowly recovering in Atlanta. However, his health scare caused further chaos for the already-beleaguered Back In Action set.

The star has received an outpouring of love from the entertainment industry. Furthermore, Martin Lawrence told fans he had spoken with Foxx and received a positive update.

Nick Cannon also provided a positive update on the star’s condition. However, new information appears to indicate that the situation was much more serious and was a true life-or-death situation for Foxx.

“Jamie suffered a serious medical episode and needed immediate attention. It was touch and go for days with him, and he had to be revived — he is very lucky to be alive!”

the source said.

Foxx, who is 55 years old, reportedly suffers from high blood pressure, which can cause blood clots in the brain leading to a stroke.

The source added that doctors believe the medical emergency wasn’t wholly surprising, but Foxx was fortunate to have received the treatment as quickly as he did.

“He’s very lucky he got the treatment he did. Doctors believe this was a long time coming, and really, if they hadn’t acted fast, Jamie might well have been a goner”

According to this insider, the actor is currently responsive to everything and he is wide awake. Over the weekend, he still spent time in the hospital but he is expected to go through a full recovery.

No statements from the actor have been reported yet but he is currently recovering and his health is steadily improving as well. While he still recovers, the ‘Back in Action’ Netflix film remains in production as they used a Jamie Foxxbody double for the remaining scenes.

This movie should be the least of the actor’s worries right now, all that matters is his full recovery and staying alive for as many more years asa possible.
