Jamie Foxx, 55, was rushed to the hospital in Atlanta after an unspecified medical condition, the family has disclosed.
Details are scant about the nature of the Oscar winning actor’s illness. Jamie’s daughter Corinne Fox posted a statement on Instagram, saying, “We wanted to share that my father Jamie Foxx experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”
Fox was in Atlanta to shoot for a Netflix comedy Back in Action which also features Cameron Diaz in a film role for the first time in almost a decade.
