- Following Keke Palmer’s restraining order against her ex Darius Jackson, one of Darius’ family members is pursuing legal action against the actress.
Darius’ brother Sarunas Jackson filed a restraining order against Palmer, 30, on Friday, January 19, according to court records acquired by the media.
In the complaint, Sarunas, 33, accused his brother’s ex-girlfriend of harassing him and his family after the couple’s October 2023 breakup.
“She has made false accusations that I have sexual abuse claims against me, which I do not. “I’ve never done such a thing,” Sarunas said in the documents.
“She has gone to the media and exploited her popularity to publicly lie about my family and myself, resulting in death threats from the public. I have the emails to prove it. We’ve had strangers beating on our door.”
He went on to say that Palmer “harassed and stalked my friends and family on social media” and “reached out to people in relation to me to lie against me and my family.” Sarunas, who has starred on programs such as Good Trouble, Games People Play, and Insecure, has claimed that Palmer’s allegations had harmed his career.
“She has lied time and time again and has tried to lure people around me into her web of lies,” he said. Sarunas is requesting that the court limit Palmer’s communication with him and prohibit her from commenting “publicly or privately about me or my family.”
Palmer has not publicly responded to Sarunas’ restraining order accusations.
Palmer filed a restraining order against Darius in November 2023, requesting exclusive custody of their 10-month-old baby, Leodis.
She stated in her petition that there had been “many instances of physical violence” between her and Darius, including occasions in which he reportedly damaged her personal things, struck her in front of their kid, and threatened to commit suicide.
Palmer reportedly accused Darius of slapping her in the head as she tried to stop him from “getting rough” with their kid.
Not long after, Sarunas described Palmer as “the most disgusting, vile, abusive, manipulative person I have EVER encountered in my life” in a now-deleted X post. “Abuses almost everyone. “You’ll see,” he said. “Send positive energy to the babies…” Any youngster caught up in this situation does not deserve it. Wow. “That is so sad.”
Sharon Palmer, Keke’s mother, went on to defend her daughter against Sarunas’ nasty remarks. “For Sarunas Jackson to post the ridiculous stuff he’s posting on Twitter when he knew his brother was abusive,” she said in an Instagram video.
“I told Sarunas over a year ago that his brother was abusive to my daughter, and he said, ‘I used to be like that too.'” What?”
Sarunas, who was accused of abuse by actress DomiNque Perry in November 2023, rejected Sharon’s allegations in an Instagram remark, stating, “I have never been abusive to any of the women I [have] ever been involved with.”
But, Sharon, the world is about to hear your voice. “And the threats you made against my family.”
Darius, for his part, broke his quiet on the drama in December 2023 and filed a rebuttal to the restraining order, claiming that Palmer “engaged in abusive conduct” during their relationship.
Palmer’s restraining order was renewed for an additional six months earlier this month. As a consequence, Darius was forced to turn up his guns to authorities.
