Cam’ron & Ma$e Hit Back at J. Prince Over Shakur Stevenson Threat.

Cam’ron and Ma$e have fired back at J. Prince for attempting to intimidate them over their criticism of Shakur Stevenson. The Rap-A-Lot Records founder stepped into the heated spat between the Harlem rappers and the New Jersey boxer he manages, warning them that he “will fade all [Stevenson’s] shots and take all bets.”

On the July 15 episode of their sports talk show “It Is What It Is,” Cam’ron and Ma$e addressed Prince’s threatening post and refused to back down.

“You gon’ take all his fades and take all his shots? Alright, so then we talking to you then. Since you the big homie, we starting with you,” Ma$e began.

He continued, “When you dealing with older people, they’re the last to know that things have changed. We not your lil’ n-ggas. All that big homie stuff, that’s for little n-ggas. We’re not little n-ggas so we don’t even respect big homies! I know Killa doesn’t, and for me? I never respected n-ggas in the streets.”

Ma$e criticized J. Prince for fighting Stevenson’s battles instead of setting him straight. “If you 60 years old and you tryna be a street n-gga, you failed,” he added. Ma$e also mentioned a recent FaceTime call with Kanye West and J. Prince, describing the conversation as positive. “So I don’t even know why he would come at me with that energy. I felt really disrespected. It’s certain people you supposed to come at like that and I’m not one of them,” he said.

Cam’ron supported his co-host’s comments and questioned why J. Prince targeted them over their criticism of Stevenson but remained silent when Kendrick Lamar dissed Drake, who J. Prince has a close relationship with. The Dipset legend also brought up Prince’s past feud with NBA YoungBoy, saying, “You 60, n-gga! What is you talking about?! Bro, I lost mad respect for you. ‘Cause I used to have mad respect for you.”

Cam’ron continued, “You had Shakur with you when you lined NBA YoungBoy up! Why the fuck you got Shakur with you — and this is why he acted like that, talking about you got YoungBoy and the keys to his car. NBA YoungBoy told y’all n-ggas to eat a dick.”

Cam added, “Why do you think that you can tell us what we can and cannot say. Control your n-gga! Ain’t nobody gon’ tell a n-gga, ‘Get the strap’ and then we gon’ sit there and be like, ‘I think we should shut up.’ Nah, n-gga! This is not 1982, bro. You buggin’, James. I don’t know what bet you talking about and all that other slang. Whatever bet you talking about, bet it!”

The drama erupted last week when Cam’ron and Ma$e criticized Shakur Stevenson’s recent world title defense against Artem Harutyunyan for being “boring.” The boxer countered by launching into a social media rant about the duo, challenging them to “glove up or shut up” while mocking their appearance. Cam responded with tough talk of his own, threatening to “slap fire” out of Stevenson. “You getting boxing and the streets confused, n-gga. Those are two different things, n-gga,” he warned. “‘Cause when a switchblade or something else [come out]… You talking about n-ggas better strap up. Why would you give n-ggas that heads up, you dumb muthafucka?”

Cam’ron concluded his comments by challenging Stevenson to step up in weight and fight Teofimo Lopez. “If you want to impress me, step up in weight, fight Teofimo [Lopez] in Newark so he can knock your head to Irvington, n-gga. Fuck is you talking about?”

The feud between Cam’ron, Ma$e, and J. Prince has brought attention to the dynamics of loyalty and support within the hip-hop and boxing communities. As fans await further developments, the interactions between these prominent figures continue to captivate audiences.
