Scott Barbieux, a man who took the photograph of the slain rapper XXXtentacion moments after his murder and put it up on snapchat, has now explained why he did it. Barbieux was called to the stand to testify on day 6 of the on-going murder trial of the deceased rapper.
XXXTENTACION lost his life in an armed robbery on June 18, 2018, in South Florida.
Barbieux told the court that he and his ex-girlfriend were out shopping at the RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida when he witnessed XXX’s murdered which had resulted from an attempted robbery.
Prosecutor Pascale Achille asked Barbieux whyhe took the photo? “Do you recall taking a photograph with your phone of Mr Onfroy after he was shot and seated in his vehicle”
“Yes,” explained Barbieux. Achille asked him why he took the photo.
“Because I was a big fan of his and I wanted to have a photo to remember that forever,” Barbieux replied.
Three individuals, namely Michael Boatwright, DedrickWiliams and Trayvon Newsome are accused of robbing and Killing XXXtentacion outside RIVA motorsports park in Florida. A fourth accused, Robert Allen, has already pleaded guilty and is testifying against the three afore-mentioned men.
