A shocking AI-generated video featuring President Trump kissing Elon Musk’s feet played on screens inside the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) building on Monday. The controversial footage, which was reportedly created using artificial intelligence, displayed the phrase “Long live the real king,” seemingly referencing Trump’s recent Truth Social post that read, “Long Live the King!”
Media obtained an image of the video being broadcast inside the federal building. The clip immediately sparked outrage, with HUD spokesperson Kasey Lovett condemning the incident.
“Another waste of taxpayer dollars and resources. Appropriate action will be taken for all involved,” Lovett stated.
Elon Musk, the billionaire CEO of Tesla and owner of X, has become one of Trump’s most vocal supporters. He was recently appointed to head the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a position that allows him to advise on government spending and staffing cuts. His increasing influence has sparked concerns among critics who argue that Musk holds too much power over federal agencies.
Musk stirred further controversy over the weekend by demanding government employees respond to an email listing five accomplishments from the previous week or risk being considered as having resigned. Several agencies advised their employees to ignore the directive.
The relationship between Trump and Musk has fueled speculation, with opponents suggesting that Musk is secretly calling the shots. However, the two have dismissed such claims, stating in a recent joint interview that media outlets are trying to drive a wedge between them.
Despite their denials, this AI-generated video has reignited debates about Musk’s role in the administration. While HUD investigates the matter, the video’s circulation raises serious questions about political manipulation using artificial intelligence.
