He rapper and the 44-year-old singer were both in attendance during the Look At Me Now songwriter’s celebration, which took place at the Skate Rock City roller rink Las Vegas.
Usher, who has been friends with Brown for several years, reportedly hosted the party, and sang Happy Birthday to the ‘Under the Influence’ singer according to a video posted to Twitter by an attendee.
Less than 24 hours after the two were involved in a physical confrontation at Chris Brown’s 34th birthday party, Breezy and Usher both performed at the Lovers & Friends music festival on Saturday night.
Brown performed before Usher at the second annual Lovers & Friends Festival.
Hours before he took the stage, Usher took to social media to post videos in which he doesn’t appear to have suffered any injuries, as many witnesses of the fight previously noted that the latter suffered a bloody nose.
“Things took a turn when a visibly intoxicated Brown acted in a disrespectfulmanner toward Teyana Taylor.”
A source told the outlet
Usher, among others, apparently intervened in an effort to calm Brown down. Instead, Chris called the Confessions artist a “coward,” before the argument escalated outside the venue, where Breezy and his security team reportedly jumped Usher.
Witnesses claim the beatdown resulted in Usher receiving a “bloodied nose.”
Brown and his entourage decided to leave the venue after the argument broke out; Usher allegedly followed them to the parking lot where a string of charter buses were parked at.
Afterward, the matter escalated when the Texas native confronted the R&B singer for his behavior on his tour bus outside the venue.
The news arrives hours after footage of the party circulated on social media, with several videos showing Usher and Brown enjoying one another’s company alongside other artists such as Mario and Bow Wow.
Hours before the incident happened, Usher can be seen celebrating Brown’s birthday (he turned 34).
The singers have been friends for years now, even they have had a friendly creative rivalry and both have talked about doing a Verzuz together.
Just a couple of weeks ago, Usher talked about it on Big Boy’s Neighborhood, saying:
“Me and Chris would kill the world if we ever did something together like that… I’m not saying it’s Verzuz, but I’mma just say this: if that ever happens it would be one of the biggest things that anybody has ever experienced in entertainment in celebration of two people who love each other.”
