Beyoncé’s childhood home catches fire on Christmas morning. It has been said that the singer, who is now 42 years old, and her family resided in the house located in Houston’s Third Ward until she was five years old.

Even though the family dwelling in the home could safely flee from the premises, the Houston Chronicle reports that the fire started just after two in the morning.

According to a report, local firefighters rushed to the fire site within minutes of getting information about the incident. Upon arrival, they saw flames emanating from the second story of the brick home.

Beyoncé’s childhood home catches fire on Christmas morning. In a statement to the outlet, the District Chief of the Houston Fire Department, Justin Barnes, said the incident was controlled within ten minutes.

1946 was the year the home was constructed in the Riverside Terrace section of the city. Nevertheless, the Beyoncé family did not purchase it until the year 1982. It was claimed that the Grammy-winning singer returned to where she spent her youth in September when she performed at two completely sold-out gigs as part of her Renaissance World Tour.

There is currently no information available on the cause of the fire. On the other hand, online people are just thankful that nobody was hurt in the process. “I am very relieved that the family is safe and that they were able to escape… That seems to be a terrifying sight,” one individual said, while another added, “The Temple of our Queen will be restored.”

“Oh my goodness, that is such a terrible thing for the family… especially on Christmas,” a third person said. On the other hand, it’s lovely to learn that they are safe. It is depressing to learn that Beyoncé went to that house not so long ago for the Renaissance Film, not realizing that it would be the final time she would ever see it in that state. At this juncture, it is rather significant. Although I do not doubt that she will look after the children, this is wild.

Beyoncé, her mother, Tina Knowles, her father, Mathew Knowles, and her younger sister, Solange, all resided in the house in Texas where they were married.

This is not the first house associated with Beyoncé that has been discovered to be on fire. In the year 2021, the historic home in New Orleans that she and her husband, Jay-Z, owned was examined as a “simple arson” when 22 firemen came to put out the fires. The property was valued at $2.4 million.

According to the allegations, the local police department “received a report of a suspicious person in the area around the time of the fire.”

Beyoncé also performed at the halftime show of the 2013 Super Bowl, which took place in New Orleans.
