Charlamagne Tha God: “Ain’t Nothing Incapacitated About Wendy Williams”

Charlamagne Tha God has dismissed rumours about Wendy Williams’ alleged incapacitation, describing her as mentally sharp and capable. Speaking on The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne recounted a recent phone conversation with the media icon, claiming she sounded just like her old self.

“She was… [she] seemed perfectly fine to me,” Charlamagne shared with his co-hosts. “Wendy [sounds] like she can do radio tomorrow if she wanted to.”

Charlamagne’s remarks contrast sharply with claims from Williams’ court-appointed guardian, Sabrina Morrissey. In legal documents filed last November, Morrissey alleged that Williams is cognitively impaired and legally incapacitated. This statement was part of a lawsuit involving A&E Networks and the Lifetime docuseries Where Is Wendy Williams? Morrissey argued that Williams was filmed without her consent and was not in a mental state to agree to participate.

However, Charlamagne isn’t the only one disputing these claims. Williams was recently spotted at her son Kevin Hunter Jr.’s college graduation in December. She appeared alert and engaged, even interacting with family members during the event. Footage of the ceremony has since circulated online, showing Williams seated in a mobility scooter but fully present. For more updates check our YouTube channel.

Adding to the debate, Charlamagne recalled Williams’ wit during their conversation. “She asked [me], ‘Why are you answering the phone like we just spoke yesterday?’” he laughed. “She sounds like Wendy Williams!”

Despite the ongoing legal battles and public scrutiny, Charlamagne’s comments highlight the resilience of the former talk show host. He expressed confidence in her ability to make a strong comeback, saying her energy and mental clarity remain intact.
