After his debut album “Wasteland” debuted at Number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, the R&B star Brent Faiyaz signed a massive deal with UnitedMasters.
Reportedly the deal was closed at $50 million. According to those in the know, Faiyaz will form a new creative agency as a platform for his upcoming projects through the label.
“Brent Faiyaz is one of the most prolific independent artists today, and we are extremely excited to embark on this new partnership with him,” UnitedMasters founder Steve Stoute told Billboard. “It’s been inspiring to watch his journey as an artist over the years, and with this partnership, we look to further amplify his creative vision and support his entrepreneurial ambitions.”
The 27-year-old certified-gold singer will also maintain ownership of his music.
Faiyaz also announced a world tour that will kick off on July 16 in Maryland, followed by stops at Chicago, Toronto, New York City, Boston, Boston, Miami, Sacramento, Las Vegas, Houston, Dallas, and Los Angeles before moving to Europe.
