Ashanti and Nelly Fuel Pregnancy Rumors With Miami Performance; Fans Suspect Baby Bump

It was reported toward the end of the previous year that Nelly and Ashanti were expecting their first child together. The publication said that a source close to the couple shared the good news with them.

Neither of them has verified these allegations; however, Ashanti did place her hand over her tummy during a performance in December, which seemed to indicate that she was carrying a developing baby.

Nelly did the same thing before the duo laughed, leaving fans wondering what was going on.

Since then, Ashanti has been seen wearing vast, huge outfits while out of character. For instance, she recently had a performance with Ja Rule while wearing a t-shirt that was too loose to suit correctly.

Currently, she has been seen attending an event once again while wearing a style that would be able to cover up any indications that she is expecting a child shortly. On the other hand, some enthusiasts believe they can detect a baby bump.

As part of the celebrations commemorating the tenth anniversary of E11EVEN, the event in question took place in Miami yesterday, February 2nd. The couple performed several classics on stage, including “Body On Me” and other songs.

Ashanti wore a bright pink oversized Balenciaga t-shirt, which she complemented with a pair of boots that were also brightly colored and some sunglasses.

Ashanti even had Fat Joe join her for a rendition of “What’s Luv?” at one point throughout the evening. During an Instagram Live broadcast a month ago, he told his followers that the artists’ reunion would not have taken place if it weren’t for him.

I instantly tell them that I need ten percent of this child because, if it weren’t for Verzuz, that I brought Nelly out [during] me versus Ja Rule, that’s when they saw each other and energy linked again,” he stated. “I need ten percent of this kid.”
