Ice Spice and Pete Davidson began trending on Twitter on Tuesday after rumors that the two were dating spread like wildfire.
Isis Gaston, popularly known as Ice Spice, grew up in the Bronx, New York City, and shot to fame in 2022 with the release of a string of hit songs like “Bikini Bottom” “In Ha Moo” and “Gangsta Boo” has been romantically linked to numerous men in the industry.
The “Munch” Bronx Baddie Ice Spice was previously linked with Drake after the Toronto-native rapper flew her out to Toronto for the OVO Fest. But those rumors died soon after Drake unfollowed her on Instagram leading fans to conclude that the nascent romance had died a premature death.
The Drake episode was followed by rumors of her involvement with fellow-artist Lil Tjay after the two were spotted together on many occasions before releasing their collaboration “Gangsta Boo” and Tjay gifted her an expensive Richard Mille watch as a Valentine’s Day gift. However, both denied the rumors and Tjay clarified that the gift was just a token to celebrate “Gangsta Boo” breaking into the Billboard Hot 100.
Like the Drake and Lil Tjay episodes, this round of rumors involving Pete Davidson also fizzled out soon after fans realized that the source of the news is a page that spreads “fake news” for the purpose of entertainment and it says so explicitly in their bio. “This is Satire. This is not real (thankfully) this is for entertainment purposes only,” said a disclaimer on their page.
