Celebrity Jeweler Shuki International has sued former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown in a Las Vegas court this week for owing the business $1.095 million.
According to a report by TMZ Sports, the lawsuit claims that Brown agreed to pay the said amount by December, but has failed to do so. Reportedly Brown purchased a white gold chain, a ring, and diamond fingers that he has not paid for yet.
The order was delivered to Brown, the lawsuit adds, in February 2022.
Brown is yet to publicly comment on the issue.
The 34-year-old former Tampa Bay wide receiver retired from the NFL in 2021. Post-retirement Brown has been trying his luck in rap music. Ironically, the up-and-coming rapper even wrote a rap song praising Shuki and even had him on stage during a performance.
In 2019, Brown was sued by his fitness trainer, Britney Taylor, for sexually assaulting him. The matter was resolved after a settlement.
The twilight of the four-time All-Pro, seven-time Pro Bowler, and Hall of Famer for the 2010s All-Decade Team member’s career was marred by controversies and ill-discipline which included suspensions for using a fake COVID-19 vaccination card, assaulting a truck driver, and on-field ill-behavior.
During his 12-year NFL career, Brown scored 928 receptions for 12,291 years and 83 touchdowns.
